Accordion

The Accordion block renders a stack of expandable details/summary elements with a plus/minus icon toggle. It supports two data sources: a product_accordion_cluster metaobject (connected via dynamic source or manual picker) for centralized content management, or manual accordion-item child blocks for one-off use. When a metaobject cluster is connected it takes priority; otherwise the block falls back to its nested theme blocks.

Tips

• Each metaobject item has an open boolean field that controls whether it starts expanded on page load.
• Content from the metaobject is rendered as rich text. Empty paragraphs are automatically stripped out by an inline script.
• The plus icon fades to a kale-colored minus when an item is open, using a CSS opacity transition on the group-open state rather than rotation.
• When using manual blocks instead of a metaobject, nest accordion-item blocks inside this block in the theme editor.
