Nav Pill
A styled pill that scrolls the page to a target section when clicked. It uses
the same collection-filter-pill styling as the tag-based filter pills, so the
two look identical — but a nav pill is a plain anchor link, not a filter action.
Used on curated collection pages (like the gift guide) where the Collection Filters section is set to Navigation mode. The merchant adds one Nav Pill block per category row and sets each pill’s target to the corresponding Collection Row’s Section ID.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Label | The visible text inside the pill. Default “Category”. |
| Target section ID | The Section ID to scroll to when clicked. Should match a Collection Row’s Section ID on the same page. The value is automatically handleized. |
Where it’s used
Section titled “Where it’s used”- Collection Filters — only rendered when pill bar mode is set to Navigation.
- Make sure the target ID exists on the page. If it doesn’t match any section’s Section ID, the link does nothing.
- Stack several pills to build a category bar. The pills wrap naturally and use the same gap and sizing as filter pills.
- The label is freeform. It doesn’t need to match a tag or collection name — it’s just the text the visitor sees.
