Main Page
The standard content section for Shopify pages. It renders a two-column layout
inside a 10/12-width container: the left third shows an optional kale-coloured
tag line (pulled from the page.tag_line metafield) above the page title, and
the right two-thirds displays the page’s rich text content. An optional sidebar
navigation menu can appear below the content for pages that belong to a group
(like policies or manuals).
On mobile the columns stack – title on top, content below.

Where it’s used

- Use the tag line metafield for context. The
page.tag_linepage metafield renders as a small kale heading above the page title. Use it for category labels like “Policies” or “Support”. - Sidebar nav groups related pages. Create a menu in Shopify Navigation with links to related pages (e.g. all warranty pages), assign it to “Sidebar navigation”, and every page in the group gets the same nav with the current page highlighted.
- Content is standard RTE. The page body renders inside a
.rtewrapper, so all rich text editor formatting – headings, lists, tables, images – works as expected. - Keep titles short. The left column is one-third width on desktop. Long titles wrap awkwardly in that narrow space.
