Embed
The embed block renders arbitrary HTML directly into the page. It is designed for third-party integrations like Instagram embeds, podcast players, or any widget that provides a paste-in code snippet. The block outputs the HTML exactly as entered with no wrapper or sanitization beyond Shopify’s built-in HTML field handling.

Used in
Section titled “Used in”- This block is intentionally minimal – it does one thing and does it cleanly. If you need responsive sizing for an iframe, include the appropriate wrapper markup in the embed code itself.
- Test embed codes in a draft page before publishing. Malformed HTML or heavy third-party scripts can affect page performance.
- For YouTube videos specifically, use the dedicated YouTube Video block instead – it provides a proper thumbnail, play button, and lightbox experience.
