Tag
The tag block renders a short text label – typically used as an eyebrow above a title or a category marker on cards and editorial sections. It can display as plain inline text or as a pill with a rounded border. Like other text blocks, it supports responsive typography sizing across mobile, tablet, and desktop breakpoints.

Used in
Section titled “Used in”Frequently used as a static block for section eyebrow text:
- Rich Text
- Text Image Split
- Comparison Table
- Hero Collection
- Photo Medley
- Split Feature
- Split Feature Editorial
- Featured Recipes
- Feature Steps
- Content Cards
- Sections usually render this as a static block with the tag text passed as a param – for example, pulling a product type or collection name from a metafield.
- The pill style adds a subtle border and rounded corners; it works best for short labels like “New” or “Recipe” rather than full sentences.
- The pill renders in lowercase by default, so your input casing does not matter.
