Product Stock Message

The Product Stock Message block shows a small status banner centered below the product form area. When the variant is available it reads “In stock.” (customizable) alongside any nested app blocks like AfterShip estimated delivery dates. When the variant is unavailable it switches to “Out of Stock” and hides the child content. The transition happens instantly on variant change with no page reload.

Tips

  • This block accepts @app child blocks, which is how AfterShip’s estimated delivery date widget slots in. The widget’s shadow DOM styles are overridden inline to match the theme typography.
  • The stock state is managed by Alpine and reacts to variantChange events dispatched by the variant options block.
  • Both messages render server-side for the initial variant and swap client-side via x-show, so there is no flash of incorrect content.
