Split Feature
An edge-to-edge two-column section designed for high-impact feature moments. The left column is a large primary media slot (image or video) and the right column centers text content above a smaller secondary media slot, with buttons pinned below both. There is no container max-width — the layout runs from viewport edge to viewport edge.
Both media slots support images or video. Videos can autoplay muted (for ambient loops) or use click-to-play with audio. A flip checkbox reverses the column order on desktop so the primary media can sit on either side.

Where it’s used
Section titled “Where it’s used”Homepage and landing pages for large editorial features. Not typically used on product pages.
- Use autoplay video for ambient loops only. A muted loop with no controls works well for short product demos. Anything with dialogue or narration should be click-to-play.
- The mobile image override matters. The primary slot’s aspect ratio changes significantly between mobile (390:418) and desktop (864:990), so a crop that works at one size often doesn’t at the other.
- Padding defaults to zero. The section is designed to butt up against adjacent sections. Add padding only if you need breathing room.
- Flip for variety. If you stack two Split Feature sections, flip one so the primary media alternates sides.
