FAQ Item
The FAQ item block renders one expandable accordion row with a question as the trigger and a richtext answer as the collapsible body. It uses Alpine.js with x-collapse for a smooth animated open/close and a plus-to-minus icon swap. The block is smart about empty content – it strips HTML tags from the answer before checking for blank, so an empty richtext field with only wrapper tags is correctly treated as empty and skipped.

Used in
Section titled “Used in”- The section can also populate FAQ items from a metaobject cluster via the product’s
nama.faq_clustermetafield, so on product pages you may not need manual blocks at all. - The icon animation is a crossfade between a plus and a kale-colored minus – not a rotating plus. This matches the PDP accordion pattern.
- If both the question and answer are blank the block produces no output, so you can safely leave placeholder blocks without worrying about empty rows on the storefront.
